Quality
Assurance MDV complies with all USDA and FDA regulations with strict, good manufacturing practices and a complete HACCP program. Raw vegetables are first sorted and cleaned, then steam peeled to remove the skin prior to cutting/sizing. The product is carefully blanched and air-dried to assure quality texture and taste. The finished products are screened for size, color sorted, passed over magnets and through metal detectors prior to packaging into bags or boxes. With our in-house laboratory testing, products are microbiologically testd and graded according to customer specifications. State of the art equipment assures the highest quality dehydrated vegetables. Dedicated employees monitor the produce from the moment the crop is planted through the final packaging stage. The professional staff monitors pesticide applications by testing for pesticide residuals in the raw product to meet our strict requirements. In addition to specifications on color, flavor, defects, and moisture the finished product meets tight microbiological specifications. MDVs products are Orthodox Union Kosher certified. MDV Inc. will
provide detailed Certificates of Analyses for any of our products upon
